We are customizing the options before ordering and saw these 5x8 enclosed trailer torsion axle options https://makemytrailer.com/torsion-axles-on-5x8-enclosed-trailer/  Since torsion axles usually drop the overall trailer height by a couple of inches compared to spring setups, does that lower center of gravity help noticeably with highway drag and crosswinds when towing small rigs?

Can someone please explain how it’s done w/o connecting a computer?

It’s a 1340 used for tracking and wondering if folks are getting a rebuild of GDU and/ or engine at this interval (driven spirited but not racing).

This is my first Radical, a heck of a car that demands balance but gives an incredible amount of fun back if properly driven.

I’m around 40hrs (so I believe) and had the car serviced at proper intervals.  Now, I’m inclined to just do fluids and nut and bole check but wait a bit more for refurbishment.  Comments welcome, thanks!

Came across this 5x6 setup with torsion axles https://makemytrailer.com/torsion-axles-on-5x6-enclosed-trailer and was wondering if torsion actually makes a big difference in smooth towing on the highway compared to leaf springs.

Anyone running a 5x6 or similar size for track days? How does it pull?

I have the programming cable and have been able to edit the display pages, however there are a few things in the ECU Stream that Radical has locked, even with the device key, they remain locked.

I'm also trying to understand the TPMS they used in these cars. I've been able to validate the box is transmitting to the CAN but I can't seem to get the data to read on the wheel. I can display it, but it never reads anything more than 1psi for all 4 wheels.  If I go into live view with the PDM32 I can see the data, right/wrong, but I can't seem to get that same info to the wheel.

I've seen other discussions on how their early XX's are configured and mine is: GPS to SmartyCam, Smartycam to EXP/CAN port and into the PDM.

Any feedback is appreciated,

I don’t know if front part from newer Radical could fit on my SR3

I recently purchased a 2022 XX 1340.  After my first outing I am doing inspection and prep for my next even and noticed when nut/bolt checking the car that all the inner wishbone bolts were below spec.  I reached out to my dealer and I was informed that they have seen common issues when torquing to the recommended 30 lb/ft stated within the service manual.  They recommended torquing all inner upper and lower wishbone bolts to 20 lb/ft instead of 30.  Has anyone here experienced repeat failures of wishbone bushings or frame mounting structure.  Is this a common practice to use a lower torque value.  I also noticed the Nik Link Pivot bolt that uses a bushing was also torqued to the lower spec.  Thoughts?

Absolutely wicked car BTW.  I went out first day and PB'd over my Z06 by over a second.  I look forward to years to come with this car and a VERY different driving experience than a full sized car.
