Radical Clubsport chassis number 2 was the second “Pre production” Radical built. When Chassis number 2 arrived from Spyder Engineering it was immediately apparent that there was an issue with the chassis. This is how Phil Abbott tells the story. “What actually happened with second chassis , when I arrived to collect it from my former colleagues was , it looked odd ? 1 minute with a tape rule told me it was 2” wider than no 1 !! And 1 minute more told me they had assembled the tubes on wrong side of jig stops! 20 minutes later, invoices paid , jig on back of my truck , heading to my own shop ! I will do it myself ! ” From that point on all Radical Chassis have been built in house. Chassis number 2 was a yellow car.
