Hello all!

I have a email into the engine team at Radical, but wanted to see if anyone on here has any suggestions on fuel type for the SR10.

I am in Atlanta and I believe Road Atlanta has either 95 or 98 at the pump (and 100/112).  What are others running and where do you source your fuel from?

Whatever you choose, I think you will find track fuel is brutally expensive.  If you choose a fuel not readily available at the public gas stations, a simple web search for 'race fuel near me' should yield places that will sell you (typically) 5 gal containers.  Being in a big Metro area, it shouldn't be too difficult

The owners manual recommends 98RON UK spec, Oxygen 2.9%, less than 5% ethanol - Like Shell V Power over here.

It also mentions you can use Sunoco 260GT.

I think 98RON equates to around 93 over there so I think 95 would be good to use, providing it is low on ethanol and without any extra oxygen.

Hey! Most people running the SR10 stick to high-octane pump fuel, usually 98 if that’s available, and some even go for 100 or race fuel when possible. It really depends on how you’re using the car and the conditions. A lot of us just grab fuel from regular stations that carry high-octane, but for track days, some drivers order race fuel ahead of time to be safe. I’d check what your engine team recommends too, but 98-100 octane at the pump is pretty common for good performance.
