Hi there!

I am in the work of restoring a 2005 sr3 and i have problems with the brake balance, as I believe there is something missing. When i move the bake balance anything changes, the pedal doesn't move either to the front or the rear master cylinder.

I do not know if it must have anything inside the hole of the brake pedal, or it must be empty asi it is right now.

Maybe if you have some parts diagrams of it may help also.

Thanks!

Hi Erik (@ezabala8), Here are a few graphics that show the parts of the system.  Basically there is a pivot bar between the front and rear master cylinders and depending on how you adjust the cable control on the dash the pressure is distributed to the front and rear cylinders .

RS Pedal box
RSX Pedal box
SS Pedal box

Thank you very much Charley

Ok i was missing The 2washers in between my pedal.

By the way does someone know if the brake discs of a SR3 gen 1 are the same of any road car?

@ezabala8 The discs on my car (110) are from a Merkur XR4TI here in North America and in Europe were from an Escort RS.
