Hi.  For those trailering their Radicals on an open trailer, do you recommend removing the wing?  I'd be concerned about the wing creating enough downforce (even at 55-65 mph) that it may adversely affect trailer handling.  What are your experiences and/or recommendations?

As much as I'd love to get an enclosed trailer, I would need to buy a more powerful tow vehicle.  My 4Runner probably couldn't safely pull an enclosed trailer.

I pull mine with an open trailer and have never had an issue.  I have an air dam on the front of my trailer so that may help offset the impact of the rear wing.  I figured if there was going to be an issue I would pull it on by the rear but it has been fine.

Thanks, Clark.  That's good info.

I tow my Viper ACRE on an open trailer with no issue. That wing is MUCH larger than the radical wing. At 65-75mph it's just not fast enough to have a big enough impact on the trailer/tongue weight.
