Is there anywhere to race this car at a club friendly level? I see the Radical cup but that's not what I'm after, way too series and big dollar. I'd love to find a club level racing series to run this car (SR3) in the Northeast.

Hi Paul (@pmak26), yes there are quite a few places around the country.  In the east coast there is Monticello Motor club in New York.  There are also a few Radicals that are part of the Drivers Club at Lime Rock Park.  I understand that SCCA is developing Radical specific classes, but I don’t know the details.  I would recommend reaching out to Jonathan at Radical New York (@grouparacing). He is a great guy to work with and knows all of the best places to race.

For club racing itself there is SCCA and NASA. Both have their pros and cons to eachother. NASA will give you WAY more track time, but there is alot more cars on track at the same time in comparison to SCCA. SCCA is in the middle of re doing their rulebook completely for both P1 and P2, with the Radical front and center for it as its basically the only active manufacturer you can get support, parts, cars etc. In the North East there is some other smaller groups can run with such as FRCCA, EMRA and such.

Thanks for the replies Charley and Jonathan! New GroupA site is looking awesome btw! I saw on there you have this under "CLUB RACES"

But what series are these club races occurring? I'd like to comb through the rulebook and plan to do whatever "club" series this is next year.

I know the PO of my car was running it in SCCA P2, but according to SCCA P2 rulebook my car wouldn't even be classed as P2, but should be in P1. So yeah, a little confusion but doesn't matter anyway if they're redoing the rules. If there is a class for these in NASA, what is it called? I'd prefer to run NASA over SCCA.

I'll check out FRCCA and EMRA too.
