Radical SR1 chassis number 51 is one of the last generation 1 cars built. The car was purchased new direct from the Radical Factory by Andy Chittenden. The car has a 1340 dry sump engine, paddle shifting, Oil heater, and brake pressure sensors. In 2016 this car won the Bedford “How Fast” non championship Radical SR1 sprint and held the overall lap record for a while. The car was also raced in all rounds of the SR1 cup in 2016 and the Radical Championship, also one race in the BRSCC OSS Championship. In 2017 the car raced in 2 rounds of the SR1 cup. In 2018 the car was raced in 1 round of the SR1 cup at Cadwell park and one round of the MSVR all comers at Rockingham. Possibly broke the “SR1 spec” official lap record at Rockingham.
