SR3 chassis number 165 is a black car with a 1500cc carbureted engine. It has Avo single adjustable dampers, carbon rear wing, Dive planes, three piece Kodiac wide wheels, and a MBE Engine Management system. It was for sale at Spring Mountain March 2018 Engine SN appears to be 1500-005? in February 2020 the current owner, Crit Scholer, provided the following information. After inquiring, Radical UK informed me that the chassis is a 2004 and was shipped to the US in 2004 as a rolling chassis without an engine. I contacted the previous owner who stated that a Crago motor was installed (a southern CA motorcycle engine and repair shop now closed due to owner death). The previous owner stated that the Crago motor was very unreliable and needed to be rebuilt constantly and would break down frequently. In 2008 at 138 total chassis hours, A new RPE 1500cc long stroke K7 engine was installed as well as a Geartronics paddle shifter system. The engine has been rebuilt one time in 2012 after 42 hours of use (chassis time of 179.8).
