I am trying to get pictures of Clubsport and Prosport chassis number plates.  The interesting thing about the Clubsport and early Prosport Chassis number plate is that they include the manufacture date of the car.  For example Clubsport chassis number 11 was built on June 8 1998, Chassis number 34 was built on February 27, 1999, and Chassis number 48 was built on March 3, 1999.  It is interesting to see how the build rate increased.  With 23 cars build in the 7 months between the build dates of chassis number 11 and 34, and then 14 car were built in the 4 days between the build of chassis number 34 and 48.  That is pretty impressive for a small company that was only ~2 years old.

If you have a Clubsport or early Prosport please take a picture of your chassis number plate and send it to CharleyH@RadicalSportscarRegistry.com.  Also, if your car isn't in the Registry yet, please ad it so we can capture the history of your car.

Thank you,

Charley

Thank you for Posting these Mano!  I have been trying to confirm these chassis numbers for quite a while.  I saw a "For Sale" ad for these cars early last year and tried to make out the chassis numbers in the pictures.  The seller mistakenly posted these cars a Clubsports so I had them listed in the Clubsport section of the Registry.  I was sure they were Prosports, but until I could confirm the chassis numbers I kept them in the Clubsport section.  I will move them to the Prosport section now.

And thank you for posting pictures of the chassis number plates.  These are particularly interesting for several reasons.  The early Clubsports used the same style number plate but used a different numbering system that included the build date in the chassis number.  Then the switched to the smaller blue number plates and started using the RCSxxxx (RCS=Radical Club Sport).  Your cars must have been built in a transition period because they have the original style number plate and use the newer numbering system (RPSXXXX where RPS - Radical Pro Sport).  These RCS and RPS designations only lasted a short period of time and then were changed to RMS (Radical Motorsports)... and then late changed to a model number designation, for example SR3XXXXX.

I would like to hear more information on these cars when you have a chance.

Thanks,

Charley

Welcome, and thank you for posting that Martin!   Your car isn't in the Registry yet, so if you have a chance please post some pictures and details about your car and I will add it.

Thanks,

Charley
