If anyone is interested in picking up a “lightly used” 1500cc engine give Robert Burgess a call at Radical Canada East. He has several available at reasonable prices.

@kskins1, Hi Kevin, He has 5 engines so the prices a little different for each one. He is asking ~$15k each and is willing to take engines in on trade (up to ~$5k). The cost of a new Radical 1500 is now about $25k so these seem pretty reasonable. Give Robert a call and hopefully you can come to a win-win deal. His number is (416) 420-0057.
