Finally got a seat poured for me by a pro. Problem is, now that I’m in the correct seating position for sight/steering, I have to extend my toe to get full throttle. Has anyone come up with good pedal extenders? Doesn’t look like I can adjust the pedal set easily without having to move master cylinder/etc.  Brakes are fine, but looks like it’s adjustable with the threaded rod? Throttle pedal looks fixed, but unfortunately is the one I need closer to me. Thanks.

Did you already move the seat as far forward as possible?

The pro who poured my foam seat said we shouldn’t move the seat forward anymore because I was in a good position relative to the steering wheel.  I probably need 2-3” of ABS plastic bolted to pedal to avoid hyperextending foot.

@achilles99 Hi! I’m 5’6” and Bill at Spring Mountain fabricated a gas pedal extension for me. I’ll shoot a pic tomorrow.

@achilles99 Here is the throttle extension. Bill bent a piece of bar aluminum and then riveted it to the pedal. Works great

@crit this is perfect, can you DM me a number for Bill? I’d like to see if I can pay him to fabricate one for me too, I could probably drill a couple of holes and just bolt it on. I assume it doesn’t flex at all?

@achilles99 absolutely no flexing. If Bill can't make one, I can fabricate one for you. Just give Spring Mountain a call and ask for Bill.

@achilles99

We are about the same height.  My pedals are a little bit of a stretch but I am comfortable.  Bill at Spring Mountain also mentioned to me that the pedal set could be moved forward.  If you speak to him directly ask him about that option too.

Thanks @johnannz, just spoke to Bill and Mark and they told me a way to adjust the angle of the throttle pedal (basically, the hinge point is the same, but there is a bolt that allows it to stand more upright... you have to adjust the throttle cable and stop, but otherwise should be easy). Is your throttle pedal even with your brake or behind it?

@crit - same question, is your throttle pedal (without the extension) behind or even with the brake pedal? I'll be at the track on Thursday to take a look at mine, but was curious about how yours looked. Based on my pics above, looks like my throttle is behind the brake.

Thanks for the input guys! Looking forward to my first day with good weather (hopefully) this Thursday. I've had the SR3 out there 3 times... all cold and rainy 🙁

@achilles99, just sat in the car to verify, gas pedal is even with the brake, the clutch is about 1 inch behind the brake.

@crit got it, did you happen to notice if your brake pedal looks like mine (which is slightly forward because of the bolt that holds it on is unscrewed several turns)? I'm skeptical that I'll be able to pivot the throttle pedal forward enough, but anything is possible. I'll know for sure on Thursday. Thanks for your help!

@crit yes, a picture is much easier :). Looks like your stock pedal is even with the black portion of the brake, similar to mine. I also noticed the Everbilt sticker, which means I could find it at Home Depot!

@achilles99, yup, just a standard piece of bar aluminum.

Found a video on YouTube on how to bend it... looks like a torch will do it. Spring Mountain is going to quote me on how to do it, if reasonable I may just buy from them. Not sure I trust myself not to burn my hand lol!
