Installing Lights...lost compressor
Hey guys...I was installing some lights last night and was just reusing a relay that the previous owner had installed to run some headlights. I hooked up the lights and they work great, however, I lost my Compressor and possibly several other circuits in the process.
My question is are all these voltage losses tied to a single relay or common failure point? I already have a new compressor relay on order as I am pretty sure that relay failed. Here is what I am seeing at the ECU level.
Have you checked out this wiring diagram? Hopefully it will help. https://radicalsportscarregistry.com/sr3-wiring-diagram-life-ecu-and-fi/
How’d you go Thomas?
I ran my car up today ready for next weekend aok, then went to select gears etc for function only to find paddles don’t work.
two weeks prior I also fitted some lights to the car!

I've scoured that schematic as well as all the others that are on the website. I can't seem to find the compressor circuit or compressor relay. I replaced the compressor relay this morning and no change.
I will manually check to see if I am getting 12V to the compressor connector and then see if I can fire the compressor manually.
I can't quite correlate what all these errors have in common. I don't recall if they are just normal errors because the engine is not running? Maybe all these pressure transducers saw a spike on the GND side and failed?
Much more digging to do.
@tommymills, what was the light relay connected to? Was it connected to the switches on the dash? I think most of those warnings could be from the not running.

Charley, after being totally freaked out for the last 36 hours I finally have a resolution. Turns out there really was no problem. Earlier this year I had gone through the compressor and shifting mechanics to stop all the leaks. My compressor would come on every 1-2 minutes in the pits. After fixing it, apparently, I did a really good job, as the system would NOT leak down after 3 days.
I was so used to hearing the compressor come on every time I turn the main power on, I freaked out when it didn't come on immediately. I finally looked at all the data on the LifeECU and saw that the shifting system had 148psi in it. I thought...impossible. But sure enough, I cycled through a couple of gear changes and the compressor came on as expected.
@tommymills, Fantastic! I am glad to hear that it isn’t an issue .
