Hey all

Looking for a source of more detailed mechanics manual for my SR3.  I have electronic versions of the mechanic's manual (version 4.3 being the latest).

Looking for better instructions on various assembly of the vehicle.

Thanks

Yes the Owners manual and shop manual actually have most of what is needed.  Did you check out the “Resource Library” on this site?  There are some other good manuals on there (engine, handling, data, etc).  I was expecting to need a giant manual like street cars have, but these really have most of what’s needed.  Whenever I have been stuck I contact one of the Radical Dealers and they give me the needed guidance.  Let me know if you have specific questions.

Specifically what i'm trying to see - and i think i have it figured out (maybe) is how the gear shift arm to which the air shift road attaches.  Mine appears to have been installed incorrectly and the arm could be damaged as it does not want to slide all the way in.

The way I think it should work, from my motorcycle experience, is that the arm slides over both sets of notches and the bolt slides through the groove eliminating it from sliding off.  This would not be in an SR3 manual, but just looking ahead as i trouble shoot the blipper shift system.

Yes, You are correct, the bolt needs to be removed and then the shif arm should slide over both sets of teeth and then the bolt is reinstalled.  I would take it off and see what is going on there.  I had a problem with mine where the shift arm was loose no matter how tight I made the bolt.  Radical has a revised billet shifter arm that solved my problem.  Depending on what you find when you get it apart you may want to get one.  I got mine from Spring Mountain, but I would imagine all of the dealers carry them.

What problems are you having with your blipper system? What year is your car? Isn’t your car Chassis number 547 (2010)?
