Just received a new SR 3XXR. PDI was completed and then it was put on a truck to go cross country. Started it up and let it warm up, but every time I shift into first gear, the engine immediately stalls. TPS percentage is between 3 and 3.5 once warmed up. Every other radical I’ve driven, has never had this problem. Thoughts on where to start investigating?
Hi Patrick(@patn217), welcome to the Registry. Can you expand on what is happening? Is the car slowly shutting down or is it coming to an abrupt stop? Silly question, but you do have the clutch depressed, correct? Have you downloaded the ECU data to see what is causing it to shut down?
I would recommend checking the clutch first, ensure that the pushrod moves when you depress the clutch.
Maybe try bleeding it through and checking that the pedal stop is set correctly.
