Request for Clutch Slave Cyl pictures, info
I am installing an SR3 GDU in my formula car/Hayabusa.
It is taking up more room near the sprocket area, so I'm not able to use my current slave cylinder.
I'd like to see what the SR3's slave cylinder looks like. I assume it is very compact. I need to replicate it, or buy one from a Radical dealer.
Thanks for your replies.
look at my SR1; 1340 refresh thread,(towards the end) I posted a bunch of photos that included the slave cylinder. I had to fabricate longer spaces and a new push rod. they should give you an idea how they are installed
@graemed, thank you. Saw your pictures. Very informative. I had to do something similar (extra spacing) when I had a chain drive Quaife. However, with the new SR3 GDU, I've lost a lot of room in that area. Extra spacing wont solve the issue (I don't think), due to simple interference. So, I'm pretty sure the SR3 must have a unique, special slave cylinder.
I'll reach out to a Radical dealer tomorrow to see what they say.

Hope this helps,

Fantastic. Thank you both.
That's a nice little unit. I'll order one today.
