Adjusting camber
January 23, 2024 6:32 pm
Hi Ron. Both. If you need to increase camber, then you should loosen the inside hex nut and tighten the jamb nut on the rod end which will move the rod end outward. If you need to decrease camber, then loosen the jam nut and tighten the inner hex nut. You do not need to disconnect anything. I think they are both 3/4 inch fittings, so grab two 3/4 inch wrenches to adjust both ends until you find the desired camber. Once snug, take a 1/2 inch wrench to move the rod end back to horizontal and then finish tightening the 3/4 hex nuts. Recheck the camber after tightening to be sure it did not move.
