I'm wondering if this spherical bearing is pressed in? I gave it a few Love taps with a socket and a hammer but it would not come out so I stopped and figured I'd find out before I did something dumb.

There's a circlip you need to remove.... I can see it's 'tabs' in the video (5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions) but its mostly hidden by all the crud... once that's out... should press/punch out (but they can be tight - suggest some Penetrene)

@rjbender Oh yes, thanks for that Rod.

Have you ever changed these before? I wondering if it gets removed from the side the clip is on? Perhaps there is a ridge inside stopping it from being removed/backing out the opposite direction.

@meatman ... yes - removed a couple recently to get ready to replate some arms.  Yes there is a shoulder on the other side that the spherical bearing sits against... it comes out on the same side as the circlip.  I used a small hydraulic press and one of them was tighter than the other...

@rjbender hey Rod, would you have a link on where you bought these bearings?

Or any specs on them?

@meatman ... G'day Josh.  Sorry but I can't help with that... I'm reusing my old spherical bearings.  I suspect they would be a pretty standard supply though... and that most bearing manufacturers would make an equivalent.
