Does anyone here have experience with trailering a Radical (particularly the SR3) with a Futura lowering trailer?  These are the trailers that feature a bed that lowers and is targeted towards cars that have low clearances.  I ask as I really hate using ramps on my other cars.

Hi Michael (@backmarker_billy), I haven’t tried a future trailer but if you measure the ramp angle and it is less than 3 degrees it will work.

I have the Futura Super Sport (16'5 deck) and it works great. I believe the deck angles down to about 3 degrees. What I used for the Radical I used with my Cayman that has a very long and low splitter too. I use 3' long boards (actually taken from a pallet) and since I have the ability, I made some 3D printed angles to put under the boards to keep the angle consistent upwards. If you had a simple 3-4' wood board, it would work too. The deck is about 35mm in height from memory so the car does have to come up a little off the ground and the splitter is too long for it to work without something. I can drive up with lowered street cars without issue but with splitters you'll need something with a little length to put it on the same plane.
