I do provide my own support and absolutely you can do this on your own for HPDE track weekends. For Radical Cup racing, I think it is necessary to have a technician to provide support because drivers...

RE: Performance and Cost Comparison for Radical SR3

The costs are equivalent. We use two sets of Hankook tires during a race event. The UK refresh may be a less expensive option, but I think that when shipping is considered it works out about the sam...

RE: Performance and Cost Comparison for Radical SR3

I think it has been done with the SR10, but it is uncertain to me whether that has decreased overall maintenance cost. The SR3 is a good car because it is well balanced with sufficient downforce and ...

RE: Performance and Cost Comparison for Radical SR3

I called the Radical engine department in the UK, and I was able to talk to I think the lead engine rebuilder as well as another engine tech. They both confirmed that the refresh schedule for the 150...

RE: Performance and Cost Comparison for Radical SR3

Thanks Dan and Charley for the input. I have sent an email to Spring Mountain for clarification, and I will likely send another to the factory. It would be useful to hear what they have to say, alth...

RE: Waking up SR3 / #254 / 2006 Supersport from long storage

I am servicing my car today and I timed the warm-up from cold start. 86°F outside temperature. It took 13 minutes for the oil temperature to reach 50C, and the water temperature never exceeded 90C. ...

I don't have experience with gen 1&2 cars, so I cannot answer your questions about how to get data and what wire harness you need. For my cars, I have a data cable that plugs into the dash. I do...

RE: Waking up SR3 / #254 / 2006 Supersport from long storage

I have had a similar experience with one of my cars. Ran very rough and required extra throttle, but eventually died. It turned out to be weak batteries. After replacing both, car ran perfectly. ...

RE: Baseline setup Questions

@mick_radical I don't know about cars other than SR3, but I assume many are similar. In my experience, I don't think that it is critical to get some exact height formula for the front spitter. The S...
