Update. The original estimate they gave was for a different vehicle, but total damage is still ~$200.

@buczp Hey Peter, what new track in Tampa are you referring to? Is this something private like Concourse in miami, or more open to public?

I just use needlenose pliers to compress the spring from both ends. As you do that you can pull on either one of the ends from under the hook.
