Owned and driven by an older gentleman and used for lapping into his late seventies. The car was pickled and put into storage in about 2016. Routine maintenance by Speedstar Inc in Houston since 2008. In preparation for sale, all fluids were changed and a compression test was done and all cylinders were 225-230. Replaced the following: battery (SBS30), (3) Girling master cylinders, spark plugs, fuel cell and foam (FIA), fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator, (8) front upper control arm bushings, ECU temp sensor, harnesses (driver FIA, passenger SFI). Hydraulics were flushed, caliper pistons were polished, cleaned and flowed fuel injectors, set fuel pressure, set TPS, synched throttles. Starts and idles smoothly, runs through gears on stands but gear indicator does not work, neutral light does work, temp gauge reads high by about 15C. I do not have access to a track for testing but it ran great when put into storage. Bodywork was polished and the carbon resin is bright and clear. There are numerous blemishes in the finish (I can furnish photos). Tires are old. Estimated 75-100 ez hours on engine and GDU. Radical SR3 Supersport for sale with fresh engine and Gear Drive Unit (GDU). This car was owned by the same person from early 2004 until 2022, then owned by Charlie H who went throught the car before being sold to me in late 2022. The this ad duplicates what Charlie originally posted. It has not been driven since as other life priorities intervened. The RPE 1500cc fuel injected engine was overhauled by George Dean Racing Engines and only has “break in hours” on it. The car is in very good condition and is a great bargain for someone that wants a great car for a reasonable price. It does have some chips and minor cracks that you would expect to see in a race car. The car has a new axle on the left hand side and comes with an spare set of used axles, a quick lift jack, and an extra set of new brake rotors. The seat belt and fire extinguisher are serviceable for track days but would have to be replaced / certified for racing.
