Should I sand down these pits in the wheel nuts or is that a bad idea?

I bought the demon speed tire warmers and was wondering what temperatures you set in between and right before you go out on track?

My older car doesn't have any bump stops, I've also not bounced the front or rear at my local track. Perhaps I may at other tracks??
