Has anyone found an alternative source for SR3 Rear Brake lights? Presuming they are off another type of vehicle to start with?
@mick_radical. G’day Mick, It might pay to let people know which model of SR3 you have. There are at least two different types. I’ve got an RSX and XX with the LED light bar (about 8” long strip light) and I don’t know of the OEM supplier or part number for them. The older SR3’s that have the round lights might be easier to find spare parts for…?
@rjbender Thanks good suggestion I hadn't realised as most over here are the round lights - yes I am looking for the round lights I have a RS
@mick_radical I have a RS as well and was told these red rear lite were originally either a landrover or rangeover OEM. I found led replacements after a little searching. I hope this helps. I do not have a picture of the new ones. Good luck!
@bbutler Thanks that is what I heard as well did you end up getting an aftermarket or something similar for the whole light or are you just advising you changed the bulb only on yours?
@mick_radical I did find after market 12v led white and red. It’s been awhile but I’m sure they’re out there somewhere. 😎

Single pole (turn/fog) are BAY15S base 5 Part# 1156-CW18-T. Double pole (brake/light) is BAY15D base 5 Part # 1157-CW27-T. Plug right in and have worked great for me.

My mounting enclosures are also starting to crack and I had one come loose and break a bulb on the weekend - have you considered swapping to a full LED light? I was thinking it may be worthwhile to get something the same size that fits the screw holes and looks factory
I have a full set of these lights off my car since I switched to the RSX bodywork if anyone wants them. I'm USA based. I'll send pics to any interested parties. I should have LED bulbs in the brake light housings too since I had swapped them to LED to match my rain light.
