Alignment/setup tools
I'm getting ready to buy some scales, camber/caster, toe, alignment equipment and was curious what works best with the Radical. Any favorites or ones to stay away from?
A friend of mine has a complete setup from MK Technologies. https://www.mktechnologies.com/
High quality kit and easy to use.
Garrett...here are the things that I just picked/borrowed/used over the last few months and have been happy with them.
For scales I used these and was super happy.

For rolloffs we bought these and were super happy with the quality and price. 1/2 price of the competitors and high quality

For Camber Adjustment this works excellent

And finally for toe adjustments I just got 1"x1" aluminum square stock for like $16 and zip tied them to the front crush box and rear wing mount and some yellow fishing line and a quality metal scale/tape.
I just did a string toe alignment last night with the instructions provided in the Radical Mechanics handbook. I only had to align one wheel due to suspension part changes, but the whole setup and process is very simple and an easy DIY. I used 1/2in" metal conduit (they will cut it for you at Ace), string, and a metal ruler with mm and 1/2 mm markings (my eyes cannot work with the 1/2mm marks). The only slightly annoying part is that I had to take the wheel off to loosen/tighten the jam nut because there wasn't enough clearance.
