Looking to possibly purchase a Radical, SR3, but my storage and trailering options are limited, so I optimally, I prefer a single axle trailer. Does anyone have any experience and suggestions for a single axle trailer. Brand, size, etc. What is the shortest trailer bed I can safely use.

Thanks,

Dave

Raleigh, NC

I use an Aluma, all aluminum, trailer for my Prosport. The trailer weighs 550# but hauls 3500#. It has a beaver tail and retractable gate/ramp. I use a winch for loading and tow with the wife's minivan. I love it.

Neil,

Thanks. Do you know what length bed that is. 12 or 14’. Want to be sure it will work with an SR3. Not quite sure of any length difference in the SR3 and your Pro Sport. I need to investigate further.

@davearm127 - G'day - Not sure, but looking at Neil's photo I doubt your SR3 would fit on the same length trailer as the rear diffuser is a lot further back than on his ProSport.... I reckon it would hit the front of the trailer in that photo.

My trailer is a 12 foot and yes I have to overhang into the tongue area a bit. Charley could probably give the length comparison between the Prosport and SR3

@neilca  Just checked, the Pro Sport is about 1 ft shorter than a SR3.
