On my new SR3 XX, the brand new air solenoid body was bad and removed.  So, how do I disable the air compressor without disassembly of the side pod?  It is tucked behind to left of access panel.  I only see the sensor plug, release valve, and air hose to valve body.  Where is electric connection?  I need to disable so I can run the engine and circulate oil from recent oil change.  Any advise or photos??

Hi Dan (raider89), It was good talking with you on the phone about this. Here are a few pictures that should help you disconnect the power to the air compressor.  Keep in mind that these are from an RS, but I would think the air compressor on the XX should be the same. There is a plug above the air compressor tank that can be disconnected that will kill the power to the compressor pump that sits just forward of the compressor tank.

You need to trace the plug from the motor and unplug that.

Worse case the system should have a safety and the valve on the tank should release air pressure should the compressor keep running.
