Hey All - has anyone ever done a DIY tow hook for front and rear?

My SR3 is an older one which doesn’t have the sturdier impact attenuator with tow hook on the front. Attached is a pic. Any suggestions on fab ideas? I have a welder and some fab tools to get by with.

Also I have a good idea how I want to do the rear but would be great to see some pics of how it’s done at the factory. Can someone attach a few pics of the rear for inspiration?

A good place to tow the gen 1 cars that don’t have tow hooks is from the diagonal roll bar supports mounted to the firewall.

I thought of that but was worried of body damage. I haven’t actually given it a try though. Will try pulling it up the trailer this way to see if it works out

Make sure to wrap the strap around the metal bar and not the fiberglass covering.
