Hi Radical friends!
Me and my track buddy bought the SR1 chassis #27 from @GraemeD about a year and a half ago. I've been meaning to post here for a while, and update the car location in the registry :-).
So far we've gone out a dozen times here in NorCal, and ventured down to AutoClub last fall. The only change we did was to switch the number to 27, the rest is all documented in threads by Graeme. We've spun it a few times, busted the starter gears once, stretched out the chain & replaced it once, broke a wheel rim... I'll post about some of these adventures in separate threads as time allows. On most weekends out we've had a "Thanks Graeme!" moment where we would appreciate how well he had set us up for success. Thanks, Graeme!
Unrelated question: Does anyone have a good onboard of Buttonwillow view with telemetry overlaid? In about a month we're going there (June 25-26th with SpeedSF). I've never been to that track before. It seems like a fantastic track from videos on youtube and driving it in assetto corsa (got it from simtraxx - and definitely assuming the simulated version to differ from reality and taking practice in the sim with a big pinch of salt, but at least I have a general idea of the layout now). Would be nice to see some onboards from fellow Radical drivers 🙂
