Hi Josh, Welcome to the Forum.  I saw that you submitted your car to the Registry.  I am hoping that you can add some pictures, or email them to me and I will add them for you.  I’m not sure if you got the email I sent you with some questions.  You may need to check you junk mail folder.

Congratulations on your new car and welcome to the Radical community!  Regarding rear wing set up.  You should have the main wing horizontal and then adjust the amount of downforce with the smaller flap on the wing.  An angle like in this picture is a good pace to start with the rear flap and then make small adjustments to fit the track you are on.  When making changes make sure to make very small changes because it can greatly affect the way the car handles.  When the downforce gets low the cars tend to be a little tail happy while cornering.  Higher downforce levels will slow your top speed due to increased drag.

Hi Charley

Thanks very much we made some adjustments and the car feels a lot better.

I have had the car for around 5 years and we seem to be plagued with gearbox problems where the gears break mostly 2nd gear.

Have you had a similar problem?

The gearbox was rebuilt by a specialist at the beginning of the year and yesterday 2nd gear broke during a 30 lap race.
