Prosport / Hyabusa 1300 2007 rebild 2012 with gearshift system Life ?

I think Life Club spec ) its looks like that !

last time only down shift working, upshift dead ! no signal in Valve block vire !my theory Wiring loom or Life control box ,the signal from the steering whee looks ok ( New from Radical last year )

it would facilitate my troubleshooting if I had an electrical diagram and assembly instruction

I asked Life racing the following question:

Life control box which connection should i use if trying to connect a computer 1,2 or 3 ?

if we can see something there ?

if you are going to try which software should you download or is my system to old ?

The answer from Life :

Thank you for your email! Are you able to share the RC) file uscalibration (.Led in this car and any available data logs?

These will prove very helpful in order to spot something unusual and unwanted behaviour either from the ECU or Gearshift system.

My problem:

dont have any instruktions how I download this data from the Life Controllbox or engine box  ( mbe )

from the mbe box Ihave 2 wires to a data socket

is there anyone in the forum who can help me move forward in this problem ?

i post som pictures / Kind >regards Per Svensson Sweden

You are not running a Life system.

As you say it is an MBE ECU but your paddleshift is controlled by a Geartronics unit.

You need the Geartronics software and a USB lead to connect, with this you can see if the GCU is getting a signal for the upshift.

Geartronics can also test your GCU for you if you think there is a problem with it.

@kuddby-racing, the pictures you posted are very helpful.  As Dan mentioned your paddle system is a Geartronics system.  Unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram for that system but if you reach out to Geartronics they can likely provide one.  They are extremely helpful.  If you do get one please forward it to me so I can add it to the Registry Resource Library so others can benefit also.

With that said, can you post a picture of your throttle blipper?  Some of the Geartronics systems use a gold blipper that has the shift signals going directly to the blipper vs. later systems where the control signal goes to the pneumatic block.  If you have the gold blipper check to make sure that the wires that connect to the blipper have not failed.  I once had a problem that was very similar to yours and the issue was that one of those wires failed and the signal wasn't making it to the blipper.

@kuddby-racing

Per, so it is showing that the GCU is getting a signal from the paddles as it is showing a spark cut.

I am not sure if they could be anything wrong with a driver in the box which means that it will not actually cut, this would be a question for Geartronics.

Is the actuator moving to try and make the upshift? Have you checked the bearing and rose joint on either end of the actuator to make sure they are not worn/damaged? Checked te actuator measurement?
