Coil Pack Removal
I sent engine data to the factory and they recommended swapping coil pack one and two to help diagnose the issue. Has anyone disconnected their coil pack? Here is a pic of what I believe is the disconnect point. I pulled, twisted, pushed, etc with no luck in disconnecting. I did not want to force it and break the connection. Any help is appreciated.
@charleyhradicalsportscarregistry-com I did but it didn't move.
It should just be twist connector John.
You can see a version in this video (Nothing to do with me!) at around 6min 30seconds.
You can also see he had a bit a struggle undoing it as they lock/clock into place.
I don't have much experience with these but is there not a connector on the coil itself? Or have they potted the wires on?
Did you get sorted with this?
@rlm-dan Thanks for the video. Sorry but I have not been on for awhile. I am posting the video from Spring Mountain for others benefit. It was a twist but required a lot more force that I expected. My biggest fear was breaking the connection and replacing the wiring loom. It ended up coil pack 1 is bad and needs to be replaced.
