Are your factory Gen 1 side pod support welds this bad?

Taking off the side pods and I noticed these welds are horrible. I'm guessing that somebody cracked the side pods and supports and didn't know how to weld them back correctly. Not sure if anybody else has side pod supports that are welded this poorly.
