I got sick and tired of the cable never really working well.
I will make some labels for each button but for now the far right (#4) button I push for 5 seconds and reverse gear happens. Button to the left (#3) for forward gear.

That is great! Have you had any issues if the gears aren’t meshing?

So far no, but I haven't had the car on the ground yet.
There is an audible click in both directions so I have hope.

@jking85 it works very well until it gets hot 😞
I've tried using heat shielding and protecting it as best as I can figure out, however as soon as the engine gets hot it doesn't want to work. It's the cheapest actuator I can buy it was like 20 bucks.
