I am trying to replace the ball bearing in my front right lower wishbone as it has a lot of play and it should be replaced.
However i am finding it quite hard, is that normal? Has anyone ever changed one ?

@ezabala8 … I haven’t replaced any, but have removed a couple… from memory it was as simple as it looks.
Once you’ve got the arm off the car and the upright, then remove the circlip and press the spherical bearing out. They aren’t an interference fit, so mine came out fairly easily from memory. The hardest bit was getting the bolt out that goes through the spherical bearing into the bottom of the upright. Mine were extremely tight…

I finally took it out by heating a bit the lower arm, but it was quite tight.
Anyway it came out (of course i removed the circlip before) and now i am in search of a suitable ball bearing.
Mine was pressed in pretty tight. I used the correct sized socket, and pressed it out using a vice. I think I may have used two sockets -- one on each side, with a smaller socket pressing on the bearing and the larger socket against the perimeter of the bearing enclosure. When instaling, you can easily gouge and ruin the control arm enclosure when pressing it in place. I applied a lot of heat to the control arm bearing enclosure, and again used a socket and vice to press into place, taking care to insure that bearing remained straight while pressing.

Pegasus auto racing has spherical bearings of different sizes in SAE and metric. I purchased mine from a dealer for $60. I would suggest getting the bearing from a Radical dealer so that you know you get the right bearing and because the price difference is not significant.
@davidf I don't find the parts available by My local distributor here in spain that's why I was asking if you knew some.
