Can you take a picture of the bracket (both sides) without the springs on it? And a picture of the front and back of the light?
Adjuster bolt hex end does not come off. Both ends seem fixed and don’t fit through springs.
Strange, I would think the spring would fit over the ball... I guess not.
It looks like the hex head is removable. I would think that the spring would go between the ball end and the plastic part that is threaded on. Then it looks like the other plastic part would go over the ball and then be inserted into the shafts on the mounting plate.
David, while you are in there can you double check the identification tags on your switch wiring to confirm that they are the same as on the diagram I created? Also, I checked the wiring diagram you emailed me and it supports the detailed diagram I created, but it doesn't go to that level of detail (it doesn't show the jumpers, etc).
