I am a new radical owner (chassis 655) and new member. I am vertically challenged and have move the seat forward in my car as far as it will go. Now it is very difficult to get my hand in between the seat and side of the car to reach the reverse/forward gear selector. Has anyone had the same issue? Any solutions?
This is the first time I have heard of this being an issue, but I can certainly see how it could be a problem. It seems like the easiest way to fix the problem would be to add an extension to your existing fwd/Rev handle. It may require you to remove the seat to get enough access to add an extension. Or perhaps you can fabricate an extension that will slip over the existing handle and you can figure out a way to secure it in place.

Thanks for the suggestion. That seems to be the direction I will try. I removed the seats to adjust the belts and not looking forward to that one again 🙂
