This info might be useful to someone:-

On the SR8 LM there are two throttle position sensors. The sensor on the left-hand bank is read by the Life Racing ECU, the sensor on the right-hand bank is read by the Geartronics ECU.

I noticed that after setting the TPS at 4%, when I tightened one bolt the value would start to increase. Thankfully Radical kindy mentioned that both the bolts should be tightened together, and this will stop the value changing as the sensor is tightened.

Here ends the useful tip and the trivia begins...

The TPS sensor is designed so that it moves through approximately 110 degrees or so. It has a D shape keyway which matches a rod on the throttle body.
What's interesting is that the two sensors are actually rotated in opposite directions.
The left-hand sensor moves within the premitted 110 degrees, however the right-hand sensor, which has mirrored mounting points and keyway, actually has to push past its internal stop for the range of movement in the other direction.
The Geartronics ECU doesn't seem to mind this, as the values can be calibrated, and the sensor doesn't seem to mind it either!
It is rather peculiar, as strictly speaking the sensor should be at the rear of the right throttle body (functionally the same position as the left sensor) or alternatively mount the sensor with its back to the throttle bodies rather than the normal face.

On later models the gear shift control is integrated into the Life Racing ECU, so this setup presumably runs using one sensor only.
