We are targeting 10+ Radicals to signup and race at Brainerd for the Jack Pine Sprints, Aug 27-28. So far we have 6 drivers confirmed (4) 1500s & (2) 1340s. If you haven't driven BIR yet, this is the time to hit it up. Please comment with a confirmation or questions.
I'll be there weather permitting. If it rains, can I use your rain tires Nate? 😆
If you haven't been there the track is a blast. One of the longest straights around combined with a back section that really flows well and a few tighter sections to keep it interesting.
Some may balk at the drive, but it's all freeway so just set the cruise and go. No Chicago traffic to worry about.
One other big plus, the newly paved paddock area should be done by then correct? I think that was being done for the Trans Am cars. Big plus for us Radical owners.
Just wanted to remind everyone this event is getting close. Would really like to see a bunch of Radicals there.

Good turnout considering they closed the Canadian border on us. A great time was had by all!
Had a couple minor technical issues but everyone pulled together to make sure we all were able to hit the track. Really speaks to the character of everyone present. Trophies are always cool in the Land O' Lakes region events too.
Weather forecast wasn't the best but this track always seems to avoid the rain when it's forecast which was the case this past weeked.
Looks like we're also gaining a couple more Radical pilots in the area for next season. If the border opens we should be able to field 10-15 cars next year!
