Ya, that's how I did it. Clutch in and in gear.

With the clutch pedal pushed in the noise is reduced by about 98%. Otherwise in neutral with clutch pedal out it's a significant noise.

@crit I'll try that clutch suggestion to see if it separates the two. Power Commander eh, guess I have some more reading to do 🙂
