I decided to install a oil preheating system at my SR3 SS but i was not really happy with the wiring attached to the one i bought from ISA Racing here in Germany. I did not really have a choice because the are the only ones offering a 220V system. This made it quiet pricey compared top the 110V systems on the market. The system has an output of 400W.

I printed a housing for the socket from PLA and made it (hopefully) waterproof with hotglue. Bolted it into the sidepot equally to the one for the external power.

Here some pictures:

(the pictures of the socket not installed yet was the first prototype, i changed it afterwards from male to female)

I hope you like it!

I get it (after some thinking... it's only 7:30 here in eastern US. 🙂 ). The external power cable attaches and detaches to the "front" side, and the hot glue waterproof side is on the back.

Is 220 power readily available at tracks in Europe? I guess it must be...

Very nice!

Hi John, yes we have only 220V here in Europe. It is freely available at every paddock in Europe. Thanks.
