I am looking for a seat for Spa trackday on Sept 12 and 13. I was quoted 8k GBP for 2 days of trackday driving.
Anyone have experience can comment whether that is reasonable?

I paid ~$3200 for a single day at COTA a couple years ago (3 x 30minute sessions). That was in an older SR3, not properly fit, old tires, and minimal crew interaction. It is quite expensive and would love to hear from others if they have found any reliable bargains for desirable European tracks as well. My daughter and her family live in Netherlands, so I keep trying to find nice track event during our June visits.
I had a quote for Zolder from Radical Benelux as follows: We would have an 2012 SR3 available. The program for 15th of June is an open pitlane program with a lunch break from 12:00 till 13:00, so basically you can get in and out of the car whenever you want. The price for a full day is €6650,00 including tax excluding damages and fuel. We also offer 1 hour programs for €999,00 including tax excluding damages and fuel.
It might be helpful to unpack what you are receiving for the 8K. I can estimate some of the prices in USD which might be similar to UK prices.
- set of new Hankook C52 compound slicks $1500. (low use scrubs $500-$750)
- Radical dealer track support typical $950-$1200.
- Radical prep fee is about 10 hours plus consumables. $1500
- Driver development coaching $600 to $1600 per day
- Fuel is about 4 liters per 5 minutes of load. $350 per day?
- Transport from shop to track. $1 to $1.25 per km.
- SR10 rental? Easily $2000 per day of use.
The car rental price must be high because of the maintenance costs, consumables, and return on investment. You will be responsible for any damage that occurs on track regardless of fault.
