My car is 2021 SR3 XX.  I just noticed the passenger side header from underside of car is actually resting on this engine casing bolt (not sure what that covers).  Regardless, does not look right as appears will eventually rub hole in header.  Are your cars this close?  I have no idea how to change the pipe orientation.

G'day Dan,  I recently replaced my 1500cc Long Stroke engine with a brand new unit from the factory.  While I was refitting the headers I noted that there was some areas where they were close to other hardware....

Based on that experience, I would suggest that if you remove the exhaust from the rear of the car (or at least loosen all the joints by removing the springs and loosening all 'hanger' bolts), then get under the car (with diffuser removed) and reach up and loosen the header bolts on that side of the engine (both primary headers need to be loosened together, so four socket head cap screws) then you might be able to adjust them slightly to regain some clearance - at least a mm or two.  It will help a lot if you have someone working above the car, while your on your back under it with the torque wrench when doing the exhaust header bolts back up.  That way the other person can put a little bit of load into the headers (to make sure they stay clear of the bolt head in your photo) while you re-torque the header flange bolts.

That method worked for me while fitting the new engine and I suspect it will allow you to get enough clearance to prevent the damage you are worried about....
