I have a Prosport not sure if the SR3 has the same rotors or not. I am looking for some new front rotors. I have read they come from a Ford Escort MK4 1.4. TRW number 405147RMP. Here are some on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-ESCORT-Mk3-1-6-2x-Brake-Discs-Pair-Vented-Front-80-to-86-240mm-Set-TRW/233161793321?epid=901899411&hash=item3649869f29:g:eL0AAOSwcSJchIfx

The rotors are cheap but the shipping is not. Can anyone verify these will fit? Have a better way to ship out of the UK?

My car does not have the standard rotors on it right now. Previous owner had some aluminum hats made and I believe the actual rotor is the same for a Swift DB1/5. Pegasus has them for $190 each.

You can see the wear on the rotor. The pads are not worn. I think I have too aggressive of a pad. What pads are people using?

I got a one-piece set from Spring Mountain a couple of years ago and they were fairly inexpensive. At least for early Prosports, they are not the same as for the SR3.

Make sure that the calipers were not modified to fit the different rotors. (Some people have the "TCE big brake kit", which required modifying both calipers and uprights) If so, to go back to stock rotors, you'll need to either unmodify the calipers, or replace them (which is what I did).

I spoke with Wilwood yesterday. Consider, I only do track days and I am not very fast, think old fat guy. They suggested their BP-20 compound. It is a street/race compound. Things like the Hawk Blues and Blacks are rotor eaters at low temperatures. They worked on my Porsche because of the excess weight. The Radical is just too easy on the brakes.

I ordered the rotors out of England, I will post the results.

I have the new rotors and they fit fine. George G was right. My calipers had different spacers for a thinner rotor. Luckily, the previous owner passed on, in the spares package, the original spacers. I contacted Wilwood and got the part numbers for the seal kits for my Dynolite II calipers.

O-ring kit for 1.38 piston 130-2658

O-ring kit for 1.75 piston 130-2655

Cross-over O-ring kit 130-10540

So glad a manufacturer finally sells the cross over seals.
