Anyone installed an aftermarket gear indicator display. If so, is there a specific one and installation tips?

I have only seen systems from Geartronics used. I believe their is a couple of display sizes available. I would recommend contacting one of the Radical dealers to see what the options are. Wisko is the closest to you, or it might be worth contacting Spring Mountain or Team Stradale because they service the two largest fleets of Radicals in the U.S. so they have seen a lot of different set ups.
