Hey guys,

I need to make some final adjustments to the throttle bodies on my SR8 DBW throttle system, and I need to balance them within each bank and across the banks before I make my final "ready for the track" tuning adjustments.

The factory guide mentions the use of a "Synchrometer"... but I'm wondering if anybody has had any success with individual air meters?

thanks!

I'm not much help here.  The last time I did this was so long ago I used a tool called "Carb Sticks"  which were a series of mercury filled tubes that were attached to each throttle body and the goal was to make the mercury be at the same level  for all of the throttle bodies.  I doubt that a tool with loose mercury would be sold anymore...  But, I watched the mechanics at Spring Mountain use a Synchrometer and it worked well.  I believe they are fairly inexpensive tools < ~$50.

I found 'em, thanks Charley. $36 apiece, not bad at all.
