Hej!

Im trying to find suitable tyres for my old Prosport. I have found Hankook 13" but they are 180/550-13 at the front instead of 190/535-13.

Anyone tried these on a Prosport?

Or do you have other recommendation for tyres?

I live in Sweden so preferably tyres that i can get hold of pretty fast...

Peter.

Hi Peter,

If you are running the 6"x13" in the front and 8"x13" in the rear as I am on my Clubsport, Avon is your best choice in my opinion, I have be playing around with a few different brands and models, and the car just likes the Avon most in terms of getting the setup right and getting the max performance out of the tyres.

Avon Tyre Size I Use:

7.0/20.0-13 10992S
8.2/22.0-13 10993S

And I get them from BMTR in the UK, very friendly guys and will help you get the right compound for what you need.

Hello and thanks for the reply.

I have 8" at the front and 10" at the rear.

I think the hankook tyres Will work fine for me, any opinions?

They have a tread width of 200, even tho they are named 180. As for the dunlops. So they will most certainly work for me. I know they will require another setup than the dunlops but that is another story.

@pipsovich Ah thats good, performance wise the Dunlop will be a better choice, we are able to get much faster lap times out of them in middle east, however the Hankook seems to deal with heat cycles and longevity a bit better.

Personally for me it would be Dunlop. But then also depends on how easy you can get your hands on the tyres as well.
