I am excited to see that Radical is releasing a new car called the SR10.  I am looking forward to seeing what the changes will be.  Here is a link to Radical's announcement:

I was reminded this morning that this is actually the third Radical to carry the SR10 name, although this is the first production Radical to use the name.

The First use of the SR10 name came in 2008 when Dawson Racing modified one of the Radical SR9 Le Mans cars to run with an Eco friendly Diesel engine, and a revised nose. The car was only run in few races.

SR10 Laguna Seca
SR10 5

The next time the SR10 name was used was when Radical came up with a closed roof P1 concept that they intended to race at Le Mans.  Unfortunately the car was never built.

sr10 2
sr10 1

Charley,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, exciting news for sure!!  Based on the history, it sounds like this is going to be really big!

They don't seem to have any holes in their lineup. I'm curious what's driving this.

That P1 concept is super-sexy. Hadn't seen that before. 👍

My guess for the SR10 is an areo-enhanced Sr8/Rapture body with XX dash/wheel and RXC V6 TT. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm still a bit confused about the expanding lineup. Always thought their core products (simple lightweights) were not only the bread and butter - but the heart and soul.
