I bought the cable recently, it was $155.  Your price sounds reasonable.

Found the tires on Amazon but you also have to factor in tax and shipping which I’m not sure if that was included on the prices you were quoted. Unfortunately new Radical parts are pricey. Just be glad the car is so light in regards to rotors and pads 🙂

Brake disc bolt kit (BD0061 - Floating Brake Disc Fitting Kit) is needed only for floating disc... If you fit new discs you will need a new fitting kit to fit the disc to the bell. Not needed for fixed discs.

I had a recent case where some of the bolts had to be broken to be removed to fit a new rotor. I'd guess that's a common occurrence... so the bolt kit seems like an ordinary maintenance item.

From Jay's post it looks like 4 rotors and 4 sets of brake pads and new bolts is $3,346.54? Is that right? Doesn't anybody have any better options?

Can these be had direct from HiSpec for less? Has anybody looked at X-Kema Racing for rotors. These are small brakes and small pads, honestly, there has to be better options. If not, switching to a Willwood 300mm system has to have benefits.

I have several quotes from different dealers in the US. The cheapest I found on some of the parts listed above:

Pads (all 4) - $519

Rotors (all 4) - $1364

Brake disc bolts (all 4) - $281

If you are not racing in the Radical cup series and have floating rotors, I can hook you up with some high quality U.S. sourced rotors that are much more affordable (like ~ half as much)  If you are racing in the Radical Cup, you have to purchase rotors from Radical.

We are a dealer have this stuff all in stock and the numbers you have listed here are basically correct.

I have a brand new inbound SR3 XX, just finished, about to ship to US.  The owners manual has the parts list shown below.  They are all Radical numbers.  How do we cross reference to other equivalent parts and suppliers.  I do not intend to race my car, only running track weekends.  Who are some of the other "non dealer" suppliers for brake parts, filters, etc?  Am not sure how/where to find cross references for the parts to other suppliers.  Any guidance?

Thanks,

@davidf

That's a decent reduction in price over buying the tires of the same size from the Radical page on Hankook. Are those in fact the same tires?

I was told they are exactly the same tire spec and compound as the Radical tires, however they cannot be used for Radical Cup racing.

I'm using those tires on my SR8. It's a big cost savings for the exact same tire.
