Great pictures John!

And by the way... There is nothing lowly about an SR4, or any other Radical.  They are ALL amazing machines!

Great pictures John.  Proof that Some Radicals are too fast to catch on film. 😉

I always get excited when I see pictures of Radicals out on track!

Here's my new-to-me SR8 at Sebring earlier this month. I think the car has been in storage or under repair for 4 or 5 years.

@parsonsj

It’s great to see pictures of the new car out on the track!  How did it compare to your other car?

Thanks Charley.

The biggest difference was the driver's position. Driving on the right side of the car is very different. 🙂

My impressions (without any data analysis, yet) are that the new car has better brakes, and is just a touch twitchier as I transition to throttle during a turn. There's no doubt that the old car had more hp, so I'll make sure I'm getting full throttle, but maybe the bigger engine of the old car (RPB 2.8l vs RPA 2.7l) made more power. Or perhaps the MoTec setup with hours of dyno tuning was superior to the possibly "safer" Life tune on the RPA.

I've got some customer cars in the shop now, so my after-event analysis and car review will start in a month or so.

Can't wait til next time!

Edit: I set a personal best -- 1.2s faster than in the other car. 🙂

Yessir.  About 40 mins from the house.  Looking forward to hitting a few more tracks this year.
