Pictures from the SR10 North American Debut at Spring Mountain
I was at the North American Debut of the Radical SR10 at Spring Mountain. This is going to be an amazing car... It is faster than an SR8 and less expensive to maintain than an SR3! Here is a link to some pictures.

Looks and sounds great Charley! .... does it have Launch Control enabled as a standard option??
On the maintenance cost front, what else have they changed besides engine hours that makes it cheaper to run? I've been putting together together a run cost per mile sheet for the SR3 and while the motor is expensive to rebuild, there are plenty of other items that contribute significantly to running costs (tires, uprights, fuel).
I took a test drive and did not see anything for launch control It is fast!!
Charlie is a better photographer but here are some of my pics.
@rjbender, Yes they do have launch control. There is some discussion about if the U.S. cars will have this feature enabled. Here is a picture of JJ demonstrating the launch control... during and after 🙂

@gwt561324, you are correct, I should reconsider that statement. This car is so much faster that I am sure it will go through brakes quicker and the cost of transmission servicing is unknown at this point. It would be more accurate to say that you can't go anywhere near this fast for less.

From the article that John linked "...but with a far longer life between rebuilds - the modified Ecoboost unit can endure 80 hours of abuse before needing any work, outlasting the rebuild interval of the gearbox."
Have you looked at the new billet uprights? I think over the long haul they will pay off handsomely over the factory uprights. In theory, they shouldn't wear out and bearing replacements are cheap and easy. With a 40-hour upright replacement schedule that is another significant regular expense.
I'm definitely interested to see if running costs are lower. I could go for a faster car that is cheaper to run 🙂
I am seriously looking at the billet uprights. The upright replacement schedule is 6000 km rather than 40 hours though according to the latest manual. At my current event schedule that's once every 3 years.

Garrett, give one of the Forum Supporting Radical Dealers a call and I am sure they can help you out.
But order early because there has been so much demand that there is a 5 to 6 month delivery time.
